The restaurant “Il Capanno” is placed in Ranzi, a typical Ligurian hamlet near Pietra Ligure, famous for the “Infiorata”.
It's divided into three old villages characterized by the typical “caruggi” (narrow streets), vaulted houses and ancient wash-tubes around three small churches. Its hillside position allows pleasant walks and excursions at a short distance from white sandy beaches. On Corpus Christi Day every year it's repeted the tradition of the typical floral display called “The star of Ranzi”. In August the Nostralino Festival takes place: it's the occasion to taste typical Ligurian dishes with local wine Vermentino and red Nostralino.
